The Evolution of Implant Dentistry

Today’s implant designs and techniques are biologically driven vs. surgically driven.  Regeneration, at the smallest molecular level, is now restoring the damaged and missing hard and soft tissues.  Today’s leading  implant design, now termed “platform switching,” represents the accumulation of  biologic research.  We are now able to restore more difficult cases with greater predictablity.
